Giving Mum A Hand On Holiday

My blog post of yesterday seemed to have struck a chord with a few parents because I received quite a few emails from people empathising with my comments  and saying they know how difficult it is to travel with a young, energetic child.

One email I found particularly interesting was from Joanne Smith in Swindon who has a tip to pass on. This isn’t related to flying with children but is to do with helping you when you reach your destination. Joanne says that she uses a company called Bebebel for all her needs.

Now I haven’t used this company myself and so I can’t give them a personal recommendation but I thought it worth mentioning here because of the unique service that they offer and someone travelling to Alicante or the Costa Blanca may be thankful of their service!

What Do Bebebel Offer?

The service they offer is to focus on organisation and provision of all your babys’ needs whilst you are on holiday. This means that you don’t need to take a suitcase of nappies, or worry about baby food, baby milk, swim nappies etc. How many times have you travelled and had to take a suitcase full of these items? From what I can see Bebebel is a unique concept that allows you to arrive at your holiday destination and have all these items waiting for you.

The Way Bebebel Works

You simply visit their website www.bebebel.co.uk, decide on the items you want waiting for you (they are all UK product names that you and your baby are familiar with), order and pay for them. Bebebel organise the delivery of the items and then text you (before you have arrived) to let you know that everything has been delievered.

From their website it appears as if  the Thomson / TUI group are recommending Bebebel, so this is quite a heavyweight recommendation for them to have.

What a great idea Bebebel is and a wonderful helping hand for Mum :-)
