“According to information provided by Eurocontrol about the evolution of the volcanic ash cloud, all airports in the Aena network are open. Valencia airport, which has been closed during the early morning, is operational from 8:00 p.m.

Spanish Flight Disruption due to Volcanic Ash

Once again the Iceland’s Volcanic ash is causing flight disruption in Europe, this time in Spain. Barcelona, the second biggest airport in Spain is among those affected totalling 19 airports that have now closed. All of these are in the north of Spain. At the moment, these airports will be closed until 18.00.
