About Us

Hello and welcome to my website all about Alicante.

I am a mum of two children, aged 14 years and 6 years. My family and I regularly travel to Alicante, Spain and have been doing so for many years.

This is a picture of me in the Spanish mountains, taken in Feb 2004.

This is my daughter and I in an area called Bonalba, which houses a beautiful golf course, a 5 star hotel and a water park. This is from June 2004.

We love Spain because of its relaxed and friendly culture, the warm welcome we always receive and of course we love the climate! Whilst we live in the U.K. we have visited year after year. There are two other reasons for our visits. These are; that my parents have moved to the Costa Blanca (they loved the area so much) and our second reason is that we have even purchased a holiday apartment here!

This area of Spain has something for everyone. My husband loves golf and always tries to get out on the lush green, scenic golf courses when we are visiting the city.

Our children adore the clean, beautiful beaches. Our oldest has also discovered the thrills of the stomach turning rides at the nearby theme parks!

Whilst I prefer something a bit more gentle - the shopping (handbags and shoes being a particular favourite!)

As you can see this website is still in it's very early stages. I am building it slowly but surely. My aim is to pass on all my knowledge about Alicante and the surrounding areas, so that other travellers can take advantage of our experiences. These experiences will then, hopefully, add value to your holiday.

I do of-course have to do this between raising 2 children and managing the home, which is why it is taking time to build but I am truly enjoying the experience and I hope this comes across on the page!
