If you can't drive or really don't want to drive on foreign roads then an Alicante Airport taxi could be your best option for getting to your destination.

When you are visiting an Airport you have never been to before, organising a transfer can be quite daunting;

Well, hiring a taxi is a lot easier then you would think, especially when you have all the information at your fingertips!

Firstly, the Alicante Airport Taxi rank is easy to find, it is outside the Arrivals and Departures area of Terminal 1.

Terminal 2 has recently opened (although not due for completion until 2011). Currently there are a small number of Taxis located outside Terminal 2. So if you are departing from this terminal and you have forgotten your passport there will be a Taxi available to whisk you away!

A taxi is a great way to reach your destination. You go straight to your destination, in privacy and you don't have to worry about maps, or driving! You do, however, need to keep in mind the following points;

Taxis can only take a maximum of 4 persons
At peak times you will have to queue
The taxi will not have child seats / booster seats.
Will your luggage / buggy / wheelchair/ specialised sports equipment fit in a normal sized boot? If not you may want to look at Alicante Airport Private Transfers

It is not customary to tip, however if you feel you have received exceptional service then do tip approx 10%.
